“Best Practices Sharing” : We carried out the second mobility of our project under the scope of ERASMUS+ in the partner country, Portugal.

Strengthening, Integration Of Digital Competencies And Improve Quality Standarts in Workplace-Based Vocational Education

The second mobility of the project titled “Strengthening, Integration and Improvement of Quality Standards of Digital Competencies in Workplace-Based Vocational Training”, which had its first mobility in September 2024 in Piazza Armerina in Sicily, Italy, was hosted by Previform – Laboratório, Formação, Higiene e Segurança do Trabalho, Lda. in Ponte de Lima, Portugal, between 07.04.2025 and 11.04.2025.

The project is implemented with the participation of 4 expert teachers from each partner institution. During the first mobility, the team carried out the “Training Needs Analysis in Digital Competence” activity in Italy, and also had the opportunity to explore the historical, social, and cultural structures of the partner countries as part of the Erasmus+ project.

The second activity in Portugal focused on “Sharing Best Practices”, hosted by Previform – Laboratório, Formação, Higiene e Segurança do Trabalho, Lda. The project team also had the chance to explore the historical and cultural richness of Ponte de Lima, a city surrounded by natural beauty, further enriching their international experience.

Together with its partners, the project aims to:

  • Enhance the digital competencies of vocational education teachers to improve the quality of workplace-based vocational education and training,
  • Improve learning outcomes,
  • Develop innovative teaching methods that integrate digital technologies to engage students,
  • Create a network of stakeholders consisting of educators and employers by sharing best practices,
  • And improve quality standards by aligning with European quality frameworks and integrating digital competencies into the curriculum.
