Our Erasmus+ KA210-VET project aims to modernize and improve workplace-based vocational education by strengthening the digital competencies of educators and enhancing the implementation of quality standards in vocational training environments.
In today’s rapidly evolving digital world, vocational education must keep pace with technological changes and labor market demands. This project was born from the need to empower teachers, trainers, and mentors with the right tools and knowledge to deliver high-quality, digitally enriched training experiences.
Key Objectives:
- Build the digital capacity of VET teachers and workplace mentors.
- Promote consistent application of quality assurance standards in work-based learning.
- Foster international collaboration to exchange best practices and innovation in vocational education.
- Develop practical tools and strategies that support sustainable digital transformation in education.
What We Did:
Throughout the project, we implemented a range of strategic activities:
- Training Needs Analysis: We identified the gaps in digital skills and quality implementation among partner institutions.
- Training Workshops: We delivered three-day workshops focused on digital pedagogy, blended learning, and quality assurance.
- Best Practice Sharing: Partners exchanged their most effective practices and visited local institutions to observe innovation in action.
- Interactive Discussions: We created opportunities for educators and stakeholders to discuss shared challenges and new opportunities.
Project Impact:
- Teachers were trained across 3 countries.
- Best practices were collected and adapted for use across the partnership.
- A Digital Platform was created to support ongoing improvement and innovation.
- Stronger partnerships and networks were formed across Turkey, Portugal, and Italy.
Why This Matters:
This project contributes to the future of vocational education by ensuring that learners are equipped with the skills they need to succeed in the digital age. By investing in the professional development of educators and improving the quality of workplace-based learning, we help create stronger, more resilient VET systems across Europe.
